National Account Manager – Amazon 1P

Otter Products

• Manage relationships with account stakeholders and maintain competitive insights with assigned accounts. • Full revenue accountability • Partner with appropriate sales leadership for P&L awareness • Manage the planning of sales meetings and QBR presentations • Work with the customer for assortment management (including mix, sku count, ranking, etc.) • Lead all account activities including strategy, relationships, contract management/program management • Oversee the identification of new revenue streams, projects and products to drive growth • Oversee the management of channel strategies • Lead strategic account growth using 3rd party tools and Amazon Vendor Central to inform data driven decisions • Accounts payable management support • Oversee the management of forecasting/ demand planning inputs with team (with team support/standalone) • Oversee seasonal planning and NPI/NSI replenishment forecast planning • Manage MDF funding buckets and negotiate MDF programs with assigned account(s) • Responsible for P&L inputs • Oversee events planning with internal teams/shopper/channel marketing • Oversee the development of account or channel specific promotions • Manage investment/ROI expectations • Work with OPP to review effectiveness of promotional investments • Oversee development of awareness campaigns, retail, reseller and implementation of training resources • Oversee account, channel or vertical specific training • Attend meetings, check-ins and provide updates as required • Partner with the leadership team to drive strategic initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of three years of Amazon 1P sales experience required
  • Experience with consumer brands highly preferred
  • Travel up to 25% required

General Summary The National Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a positive account relationship with assigned national customers and functioning as a liaison between Deckorators plants and the assigned national customers in order to increase sales and profits. Works with merchants for alignment and execution. - Works closely with category manager to use data to drive decisions within the category. - Executes product and pricing information from the BU in preparation for product line reviews. - Attends meetings with assigned national customers and other national accounts as necessary to grow our business and profitability - Implements any new business or programs with assigned national customers - Handles merchant calls and field to the proper contacts as necessary - Works with RSM’s and SDR’s on field requests and action plans - Follows up on customer issues/complaints and assigned national customers - Assists in day to day duties as required by the Vice President Retail; Deckorators - Prepares various reports as required - Performs other duties as required Job Specifications Knowledge - Minimum bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or equivalent experience - Minimum of three years working on retail ready programs - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications - Preferred manufacturing background, but not required - Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP’s organization, culture, product lines and business systems Skills and abilities - Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking - Ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels and the public - Demonstrated proficiency to manage multiple tasks, to set priorities, and to meet deadlines - Demonstrate proficiency in general telephone and office etiquette and legible handwriting - Demonstrated ability to be mobile in the work environment - Ability to follow directions and instructions - Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships - Ability to apply business math to manufacturing processes - Ability to use a computer, and proficiency in the use of MS Office and other business related software - Ability to pass a drug test Conduct - Self-managing; works well under little supervision - Highly motivated and enthusiastic - Good interpersonal skills and good communicator - Strong organization skills - Be a team player and support the Company’s goals - Conducts in a professional manner The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
