• Lead the renewal assessment for Slack, including reviewing current usage, auditing connected tools and workflows, and making recommendations on contract renewal, optimization, and cost effectiveness • Audit and help clean up Google Workspace and Slack accounts, including user access, permissions, inactive accounts, group structure, and general admin hygiene • Improve company security posture, including implementing or strengthening single sign-on (SSO), identity and access management, device controls, and account provisioning/deprovisioning processes • Create practical documentation, workflows, and standards that improve long-term maintainability and operational readiness • Partner with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, people, and leadership to prioritize projects and deliver improvements with minimal disruption

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Consultant, IT Manager, Systems Administrator, or similar role in a fast-paced company environment
  • Experience managing and optimizing Slack, Google Workspace, identity providers, and SaaS tool ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of SSO, identity and access management, provisioning/deprovisioning, and security best practices
  • Experience preparing companies for audits, diligence requests, compliance reviews, or M&A-related operational readiness
  • Ability to assess a fragmented environment, set priorities, and implement practical solutions quickly
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical tradeoffs and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders

At Organics Ocean, we're looking for an IT Operations & Cybersecurity Manager who will own and evolve the company's entire IT infrastructure, access control and cybersecurity strategy. This is a highly autonomous, individual contributor role with high ownership. You will be the subject matter expert responsible for designing and implementing the company's security architecture, including determining the right approach to identity management, network access and system protection. You will own the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of our security ecosystem, from zero-trust frameworks and endpoint protection, to incident response and automation. You will be empowered to make expert-driven decisions, define architecture and implement initiatives that materially reduce risk and enable the business to scale securely.
