Job Description: As a critical member of the Application Development team, the Sr Application Developer is responsible for design and development of integration services and components on multiple projects. The individual will operate in an agile environment and oversee the full lifecycle development for the services/API’s and data pipelines working with other stakeholders on the project. Duties & Responsibilities: - Participate in the design and delivery of our integration projects across multiple business domains - Contribute to key phases of the development lifecycle - Designs and develops high quality APIs/Integrations - Design and develops data pipelines - Develops unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality - Support existing integration architecture and code - Solves or recommends solutions for complex issues and problems - Documents designs, issues, and solutions as needed - Collaborates within the Agile framework, fosters a team approach to software development and delivery - Actively engages improving software delivery through DevOps and other Agile practices Minimum Qualifications: - 5-7 years experience developing RESTful web services using frameworks such as Spring Boot, Micronaut etc. - 5-7 years experience using an OOP language such as Java, C#, C++, etc. - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with the following AWS components: S3, Lambda, RDS, SQS, Glue, EC2, CloudFormation. - Experience with building, deploying, running, updating, and stopping containers using Docker. - Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or any related field of study. - Knowledge of security protocols like OAuth2.0 and OIDC. - Experience working with a scripting language such as Bash. - Experience utilizing monitoring tools such as Splunk, AWS CloudWatch. - Experience implementing messaging solutions like Apache Kafka. Hiring Range*: - Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $138,900 - $212,500 - All Other Locations (within approved locations): $118,100 - $180,710 As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision. In addition to your salary, Healthfirst offers employees a full range of benefits such as, medical, dental and vision coverage, incentive and recognition programs, life insurance, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
