This position is focused on delivering robust business solutions leveraging cloud-computing platforms. The role is responsible for primary application development design to extract or import data, apply upgrades and patches, interact with vendor customer solutions as needed, as well as creating and maintaining automated processes ensuring the ability of multiple departments to access Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) CRM solution. The architect works with Business Analysts and will be the technical architect and senior developer on the design and implementation of a global CRM system. This role will also be responsible for the technical design for the integration of the Customer Relations Management system with other enterprise applications. The CRM Senior Solutions Architect position within CNM and requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and an understanding of the unique needs of the educational environment.Duties & Responsibilities - Guides and supports other CRM team members and student employees in coordinating departmental tasks and projects. - Designs and implements imaginative technical solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements while ensuring top-notch quality and timely delivery. - Provides top-tier support for assigned applications, ensuring that we meet our Service Level Agreement for incidents and problems. - Works closely with all department partners to understand their business requirements and ensure that our solutions align with their needs. - Collaborates closely with various technology teams like Development, Infrastructure, and PMO to craft elegant, scalable, and sustainable technical solutions using Salesforce technologies. - Leads the development team in designing and implementing innovative solutions while upholding standards, best practices, and high-quality code techniques. - Establishes and enhances development standards and processes to foster better collaboration and efficiency. - Shares deep insights into the functionality and architecture of our CRM system to ensure its effectiveness. - Takes charge of the detailed design of technical solutions, Proof-of-Concepts (POC), prototyping, and documentation throughout the SDLC process. - Produces top-notch code for assigned development tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our solutions. - Stays up-to-date on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps, and emerging technologies to keep our solutions cutting-edge. - Partners with other architects, vendors, partners, and business and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable roadmaps. - Provides after-hours on-call support and assistance with application deployment activities. - Assists with triaging and fixing defects for planned releases and production, ensuring smooth operations. - Helps with Salesforce platform management tasks such as application evaluations, integration with other systems, and capacity planning. - Creates and promotes best practices, governance measures, and patterns for custom and configured solutions on the Salesforce platform. - Monitors, develops, and maintains CRM integrations with various applications and data sources to ensure seamless operation. - Participates actively in change management committees to ensure smooth transitions and improvements. - Performs other related duties as assigned.
