• Develop and maintain web applications primarily using PHP/Laravel backends and React/Typescript frontends. • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot, and debug applications. • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure secure, high-quality and consistent user experiences across all of our applications. • Collaborate with our support team on resolving issues in a timely and effective manner. • Integrate with third-party APIs and services. • Write and maintain technical documentation. • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, threats and industry trends.

• You will own the technical direction and delivery of an initiative. • You're an excellent product engineer who ships code alongside your team — expect to spend 50–60% of your time in code. • This is not a management role. You write production code, review PRs, make architecture calls, and set the engineering standard your team rallies around. Your leadership is rooted in technical credibility and active presence in the codebase. • You run 1:1s with engineers on your initiative — focused on the work: delivery, unblocking, and direction. You're involved in hiring because you define how your initiative is staffed: deciding who you need and joining interview loops. • Your unit of ownership: the technical quality, velocity, and direction of your initiative. • Where the line is: career growth, performance management, and the development of engineers sit with the Engineering Manager — not with the Tech Lead. Candidates should be clear on this distinction before applying. • You'll lead one of these initiatives in a growing product team scaling into multiple initiatives.

• Conduct investigations of considerable complexity pertaining to the development of new designs, methods, materials or processes. • Provide expert technical guidance and support to R&D in the design and implementation of high quality new products and processes. • Ensure processes used in production are producible, high quality, common and cost effective. • Assure implementation of best practices established by industry and the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team. • Apply advanced manufacturing engineering theories and concepts. • Optimize solutions from a systems point of view. • Understand design requirements of the final product and coach other engineering disciplines. • Implement high quality Tools, Equipment, and Process, and validate our operations facilities. • Identify, create and lead new and existing methods for verification and validation. • Implement cost saving initiatives as defined by leadership. • Assist business unit leadership in the implementation of road maps for core processes and process controls. • Lead DFM/DFA, Process Development, PM plans, with R&D, Suppliers and Operations. • Work on special projects as they arise.

• Improving and expanding the capabilities of the Mimica Webapp (MERN stack). • Designing a robust architecture, developing new features, releasing improvements to existing components and taking operational responsibility for what you build. • Developing a visualisation tool and a data-rich dashboard that display process flows and metrics in novel ways, with scalability in mind. • Building interfaces and real-time frontend services that enable multiple users to edit graph data and re-train AI models through their input. • Owning projects end-to-end as part of small teams, collaborating with TLs and Product Managers. • Participating in architectural decisions, collaborating across teams to identify and implement product improvements and producing documentation for your implementations. • Providing feedback to peers through RFCs, code reviews and helping those around you to level up. • Participating in hiring and onboarding new team members; taking on end-to-end project management responsibilities as we grow.
