• Support engineering teams across Mimica in developing mature, resilient applications running on GKE, advising on best practices and unblocking issues quickly. • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and ArgoCD, as well as Mimica-specific Platform applications written in Python. • Manage and maintain GKE environments across multiple regions (EKS experience is also acceptable), including IAM and identity management on GCP (AWS acceptable). • Investigate and triage issues in existing applications, observe database and system component health, and implement changes to support the SDLC of other teams. • Contribute to migrating our IaC layer from Terraform to Crossplane and support expansion into multi-region clusters and single-tenancy environments. • Drive FinOps initiatives, helping us get visibility into and control over cloud spend across multiple accounts and environments. • Help design and implement access patterns for new BYOC and single-tenancy environments. • Instrument, monitor, and improve observability across our stack using tools such as Honeycomb and Grafana.
• Developing data-visualisation applications and new features around displaying significant large data properties (e.g., insights regarding processes, workflows and metrics) in effective ways, with scalability & reliability in mind. • Building interfaces and real-time frontend services that enable multiple users to edit graph data and re-train AI models through their input. • Owning projects end-to-end as part of small teams, collaborating with our TLs and Product Managers. • Participating in architectural decisions, collaborating across teams to identify and implement product improvements and producing documentation for your implementations. • Participate in and improve the Team's and Chapter's internal processes and rituals so that we're more effective. • Providing feedback to peers through RFCs, code reviews and helping those around you to level up. • Participating in hiring and onboarding new team members.

• Define, own, and champion the global product strategy and macro-level roadmap, including identifying gaps, shaping priorities, and long-term vision in partnership with the C-suite. • Document and communicate the product vision and strategy to improve clarity and alignment, and turn informal decisions into clear direction. • Mentor and develop Product Managers and Designers, and define career ladders and growth paths to assure the progression and upskilling of our team. • Support and unblock your team when needed to maintain a healthy, sustainable, and high-performing team. • Improve the operating model of the product function: prioritize and plan rituals; bring customer, market, and competitive insights earlier in the decision-making process and inform investment decisions. • Align stakeholders and build consensus when priorities or opinions conflict. • Handle executive and customer escalations and protect team focus when leadership or Sales pressure disrupts the roadmap. • Ensure we retain a culture of strong ownership, transparency, and initiative while assuring business goals are met. • Forecast future team capacity needs, and partner with the People team to hire top-tier talent to build an effective and well-balanced Product organisation.
Role Description You will be the first Head of Engineering at Mimica, leading our engineering organisation through its next major growth phase. With a recently closed Series B round and strong market traction, we are doubling the Product, Design & Engineering organisation from 50 to 100 over the coming year. This role exists to evolve engineering into a mature, high-velocity organisation capable of supporting 10x growth in usage. You will define the technical vision and North Star, introduce scalable processes and standards, and partner closely with the CTO, Product, and ML leaders — all while preserving our strong culture of ownership, psychological safety, and servant leadership. This is a high-impact opportunity to own engineering strategy at a well-funded AI company at an exciting growth stage. Your impact will be direct: shaping how fast and reliably we can ship Enterprise-grade software, and build on a foundation that allows Engineers to do their best work. Qualifications - Experience as Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, or VP of Engineering in a similar scale-up growth story. - Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills to build partnerships with CTO, Product, ML, Sales, People and other leaders. - Expertise in building and designing processes and standards that increase engineers' ownership and enablement in rapidly scaling organisations. - Track record of coaching and developing managers and Senior+ Engineers (Lead/Staff/Principal). - Strong understanding of how engineering decisions impact product, revenue, and go-to-market. - Ability to translate business goals into technical priorities, from the strategic to tactical level. - Willingness to adapt to an existing team culture, processes, and changing needs, and thinking about how it can improve, without breaking what has worked. - Knowledge of modern scalable practices in fast-paced environments & data-intensive architectures, including working knowledge of distributed systems, cloud architecture, reliability engineering, CI/CD, and observability. - Strong skills in solving disagreements - and experience using a range of tools to achieve alignment at all levels, and navigating ambiguity and difficult conversations. - Experience collaborating successfully in fully-remote working environments. - Excellent written and verbal English skills - specifically, being able to articulate technical concepts and adapt your message to different audiences. Build and maintain career ladders for Senior+ Engineers and Engineering Managers. - Collaborate with Managers on projects to advance the Engineering org's maturation, such as establishing and improving the SDLC, QA practices, and SLOs. - Enabling teams to monitor and improve engineering health and efficiency by defining and tracking metrics, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and leading retros on planning and delivery. • Serve as a strategic advisor and thought leader in leveraging Mimica to achieve customers’ desired business outcomes. • Ensure issue resolution and provide product support when customers and users encounter roadblocks and problems. • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Solution Engineering and Partner teams to co-create and execute customer account strategies. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and further expansion within existing accounts. • Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for customer needs and provide feedback to internal groups including Engineering, Machine Learning, and Product to influence Mimica’s roadmap and innovation pipeline. • Build and execute tailored customer success plans to ensure value delivery aligned with customer strategic initiatives and proactively address any challenges or barriers to success. • Communicate to customers about their business by pinpointing problems, issues, or opportunities. Interpret Mimica outputs to provide actionable insights, draw key conclusions, make transformational recommendations, and develop concrete next steps to achieve value. • Execute training programs, workshops, and onboarding sessions to drive user adoption.
• Own and drive the progression of deal requests through Deal Desk, ensuring stakeholders remain aligned and deals continue moving efficiently. • Serve as the central point of coordination across Sales, Finance, Legal, InfoSec, and executive stakeholders to manage approvals, dependencies, and timelines. • Support deal structuring, pricing approvals, discounting, and non-standard commercial terms in alignment with company policies. • Review and manage customer contract workflows, including handling lightweight redlines, supporting contract negotiations, and escalating more complex legal matters where appropriate. • Partner with internal stakeholders to support security questionnaires, customer diligence requests, RFPs, and related deal requirements. • Build and improve repeatable workflows, playbooks, templates, and approval pathways to improve deal velocity and reduce operational friction. • Help standardize common commercial and contractual positions while identifying opportunities for automation, tooling, and process improvement. • Contribute to the long-term design and scaling of the Deal Desk function, helping shape how the team and operating model evolve over time.
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across a defined portfolio of mid-market accounts. • Own and execute the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close. • Partner closely with BDRs, Solutions Engineers, and marketing to drive coordinated account engagement. • Build and expand relationships across multiple stakeholders, including senior decision-makers, to drive deal progression. • Understand the strategic and operational priorities of your target accounts and position Mimica’s value accordingly. • Lead structured, multi-threaded sales processes, navigating complex buying groups and procurement requirements. • Deliver tailored demos and business cases aligned to customer use cases. • Continuously refine your approach based on market feedback and performance data.
• Design and implement Mimica’s partner strategy across key channels (e.g., SIs, MSPs, ISVs). • Identify, recruit, and develop high-impact partners that expand distribution and unlock new revenue opportunities. • Define how partners engage across the sales cycle, including sourcing, co-selling, and delivery. • Build and strengthen executive-level relationships within partner organizations to drive long-term collaboration. • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to integrate partners into active deals and ensure alignment on incentives and execution. • Enable partners with clear positioning, use cases, and repeatable sales motions to drive pipeline and revenue. • Establish a scalable operating model, including performance metrics, pipeline tracking, and regular business reviews. • Continuously refine the partner approach based on performance, market dynamics, and revenue impact.

• Collaborate with the Solution Engineer and PA Manager to define the structure and scope of each project, setting clear evaluation criteria and success benchmarks. • Assign projects, ensuring timely delivery while monitoring key metrics such as on-time delivery, accuracy, and overall project quality. • Conduct regular check-ins with project teams to address questions on map structure, data, and workflow. • Manage end-to-end coordination with stakeholders, resolving issues that may affect delivery, ensuring deadlines are met, and providing weekly status updates. • Act as a resource for colleagues throughout the project lifecycle by offering tactical guidance and coaching on best practices, mining, and mapping techniques. • Provide insights and solutions for complex or unique cases/projects. • Ensure all project deliverables meet established quality standards. • Coordinate with Quality Assurance team members pending tasks. • Facilitate weekly planning and sync meetings for your team, delegating tasks, setting priorities, and establishing deadlines. • Contribute to building foundational processes and guardrails for the PA team’s operations. • Develop and refine hiring assessments, including role-specific exercises and interview questions. • Participate in the hiring process. • Conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and address performance gaps or celebrate successes. • Conduct regular 1:1 meeting to support team members' growth and resolve challenges.
