Job Description
Product Manager – Renewable Energy Platform, AI-Native
Otark GmbH
• Customer discovery: You conduct in-depth interviews with customers (corporate buyers, traders) in the solar and wind sectors to understand their pain points. • AI-native prototyping: You use Claude Code (or comparable AI agents) to build functional, high-fidelity prototypes directly in code — you create the functional reality yourself. • Validation & iteration: You present your code prototypes via screen sharing and implement customer feedback immediately afterward using AI to deliver the next iteration step right away. • High-efficiency handoff: You don’t hand over vague tickets but functional code that our engineering team can adopt ~90% as-is, eliminating slow design cycles and accelerating time to market. • Strategy: You own your features like a “mini-CEO” from the first idea through technical validation.
Job Requirements
- Maker spirit: You have worked as a PM or PO and love actually building things.
- Prompt engineering & front-end basics: You are proficient with prompt engineering and understand the basic structure of web front-ends (HTML/CSS/JS).
- Analytical powerhouse: You have an extremely quick grasp and a sharp, analytical mind.
- Industry focus: Ideally you have experience in the energy market (solar/wind, PPAs, trading). If not: you’ve demonstrated the ability to master new, highly complex industries quickly (e.g., FinTech, MedTech, or logistics).
- Languages: German at native level (mandatory for interaction with German customers) and full professional fluency in English.
- Residence: Your current residence is in Germany.
Benefits
- 100% remote: Work flexibly from anywhere in Germany.
- AI-first workflow: We invest heavily in best-in-class tools to maximize your productivity.
- Radical autonomy: No slow design loops — you build and validate solutions yourself.
- Meaningful mission: Direct impact on the economics and expansion of solar and wind energy.
- Speed: Experience the industry’s fastest idea-to-product pipeline.
