What to expect: - You’ll handle real client accounts, not dummy data. - Accuracy matters — mistakes don’t hide for long. - You’ll communicate with clients and internal teams regularly. - If you want to build confidence, judgement, and ownership, it will be. What you'll do: - Review accounting and non-accounting documents to accurately identify the type of document in a fast-paced environment. - Perform quality control on accounting documents to ensure the accuracy of data extraction. - Perform deduplication of potentially duplicated documents accurately to ensure bookkeeping hygiene. - Help perform classification revision, employee selection, and any other tickets related to accounting document processes. - Assign account codes to accounting documents accurately and efficiently based on the correct accounting treatment. - Attend internal accounting training to continuously upscale accounting knowledge. - Highlight any discrepancies found during the course of work and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall process to the team lead in a timely manner. - Ensure completeness and accuracy of bank statement data in the system. - Maintain tracking tools to monitor the queue of tickets being assigned to the team. - Any other task as required by management. Qualifications - Possesses a Degree or equivalent in Accounting and Finance or a Diploma or equivalent in Accounting and Finance with 1-2 years of relevant working experience. - Good knowledge of accounting double entry and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). - Excellent proficiency in both writing and spoken English. - Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. - Good familiarity with accounting and corporate secretary documents is an added advantage. - Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work meticulously under assigned deadlines. - Willing and able to adapt to a fast-changing environment in terms of product improvement. - Able to work on a shift rotation basis. Requirements - Deliver against agreed KPIs and performance expectations for the role. - Adhere to established working hours and team availability requirements. - Demonstrate due care and professionalism when handling client matters.
