Role Description The Senior Verifications Specialist is a full-time, remote position dedicated to supporting the advanced verification needs of the Orders Intake team as part of the Texas Records Retrieval function. This role requires advanced research skills, strong independent judgment, and a high level of accountability to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with departmental standards. In addition to performing complex verifications, the Senior Verifications Specialist serves as a subject matter resource for verification processes, supports quality standards, and assists with workload prioritization. This role requires autonomous decision-making, effective communication, and consistent adherence to turnaround time expectations. - Complete all assigned advanced verifications within established departmental turnaround time standards, including the three-day verification expectation. - Consistently meet and maintain daily and monthly performance measurables as established by management. - Serve as a senior point of contact for verification-related questions and support other team members as needed. - Communicate proactively with team members and management regarding workload status, priorities, and potential delays. - Prioritize daily verification assignments based on order dates, urgency, and rush status. - Upload copies of completed verifications to the MR8 database in accordance with standard procedures. - Forward completed verifications to the appropriate next team member for entry or further processing. - Accurately notate verified information on order-related emails following established documentation standards. - Perform complex and standard verifications, including advanced location and mining research. - Conduct location mining research, including documentation of verified information on order forms, uploading completed files to the appropriate MR8 locations, and forwarding completed research to the appropriate next point of contact through standard workflow. - Enter verified information into the MR8 database accurately and in compliance with standard operating procedures once each location has been confirmed. - Maintain accurate updates to the Quantum spreadsheet reflecting verification completion status. - Effectively manage workload through advanced email organization, categorization, and prioritization and Front workflow. - Perform all verifications independently using sound judgment based on training, experience, and quality research standards. - Ensure all verifications and research are completed thoroughly, accurately, and in alignment with quality expectations. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in verification work, records research, legal operations, insurance records retrieval, or a similar investigative/administrative role. - Demonstrated ability to perform complex verification research, including advanced location mining and multi-source data validation. - Proficiency with MR8, spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), and structured documentation workflows. - Strong independent judgment and analytical skills with the ability to resolve discrepancies and maintain high accuracy with minimal oversight. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support team members and act as a senior resource. - Proven ability to prioritize high-volume workloads, manage complex email organization systems, and meet strict turnaround deadlines in a remote environment. Requirements - The Compensation range for this role is $19.00-$22.00 per hour and may be eligible for a bonus.
