About the opportunity We are seeking an experienced Repairable Item Manager,to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter fleet. As a skilled supply chain specialist, you will apply your knowledge and experience to provide the following services for the Apache fleet: - Execute Designated Logistics Manager (DLM) services in the capacity of Repairable Item Manager for Apache Repairable Items (RIs) - Contribute to the development and delivery of an RI annual maintenance plan/register - Identify RIs to be inducted for repair via FMS or Commercial pipelines. - Processing and coordinating the transport of RIs to and from repair venues using Defence inventory management systems and maintaining accurate records - Procurement of RIs via Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and commercial procurement ensuring compliance with Defence process and policy. - Support requirements determination via the use of the Defence endorsed Inventory Management program, and ERP reporting - Identify and communicate potential risks and issues - Maintain logistics information management system integrity - Gather and review data for use in supplier performance evaluations - Provide support in the development of mitigation plans - Be an integral part of the Apache capability About you To be successful in this role you will have: - Demonstrated 2 years + experience in Repairable Item management - Demonstrated 5 years + experience in Defence supply chains, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience is desirable - Well-developed written and oral communication and negotiation skills to facilitate open interaction between logistics and provisioning agencies and key internal and external stakeholders - The ability to work with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment - Demonstrated experience in identifying, establishing and promoting supply process improvements at the project level - Knowledge of exporting/importing practices and regulations - An understanding of airworthiness standards - SAP S4/HANA experience Applicants must be able to meet Defence security and ITAR requirements.
