You will be responsible for architecting and optimizing data pipelines, managing cloud data environments. You will help evolve the data platform to support business needs, organizational initiatives, and advance data analytics capabilities. Summary of Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable data solutions supporting organizational architecture and strategy. - Develop and manage end-to-end data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load (ETL/ELT) data from multiple sources. - Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and performance of data pipelines. - Apply the best engineering practices for data integration across the organization. - Monitor and optimize data infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance. - Implement data quality and validation checks to ensure reliable data delivery. - Author and maintain a clear and up-to-date technical documentation describing the solution. - Collaborate with a team of data engineers and analysts to achieve project goals. - Partner with stakeholders across application groups to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions. - Other duties as needed or assigned Qualifications (Minimum Required): - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, data engineering, or related field. - 4 years of experience working with data in analytical, reporting, or engineering projects. - Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Databricks is highly preferred - Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data programming languages. - Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex data challenges. - Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Cisco, Dell, or VMware equipment and will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of our data center.
