Junior Product Owner
General Dynamics
• Own and prioritize the product backlog for healthcare applications (Members profiles, Claims, Providers) • Translate Clinical, Operational and Regulatory requirement into user stories • Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with organizational goals • Evaluate market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform product direction • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to refine requirements and plan releases • Facilitate cross functional communication to ensure alignment and transparency • Act as the primary point of contact for product decisions and tradeoffs • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree with strong healthcare domain expertise
- Minimum of 5-years product owner experience
- Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HIPAA, CMS regulations, HL7/FHIR, ICD/CPT, or revenue cycle processes
- 5+ years of experience as an Agile Product Owner or Product Manager in a Healthcare Program environment
- Ability to translate complex problems into simple, intuitive solutions
- Strong prioritization, decision making, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, highly regulated environment
