DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Participant Recruitment & Fundraising Cultivation • Conduct proactive outreach via phone and email to registered participants, prospective participants, prior-year walkers, and team captains to drive registration, re-engagement, and fundraising momentum. • Provide individualized fundraising coaching to participants and team captains, including goalsetting conversations, milestone check-ins, and connection to fundraising tools, tips, and resources. • Implement retention strategies to re-engage lapsed participants and prior-year teams, in collaboration with Walk Directors. • Support outreach to prospective new team captains, local businesses, and community organizations to recruit new teams and grow market participation. • Distribute fundraising communications including participant tips, milestone recognitions, and motivational touchpoints in coordination with the P2P team. • Provide responsive customer service to fundraisers and team captains, including support with registration and the DonorDrive platform and Shatterproof Fundraising App. Data Tracking & Outreach Accountability • Maintain accurate and up-to-date outreach records in Salesforce and DonorDrive, tracking participant contact, fundraising progress, and pipeline status. • Monitor recruitment and fundraising metrics against goals; surface progress updates and flag gaps to Walk Directors and VP of P2P Fundraising on a regular basis. • Support the team in identifying trends and opportunities to improve outreach strategy and participant engagement across markets. Community Resource Village & Partner Support • Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics and communication for Community Resource Village Partners, ensuring a high-quality Walk day experience. • Provide registration and team registration support for Community Resource Village Partners. • Build and maintain positive relationships with community partners in support of Shatterproof’s community engagement goals. Walk Committee Support • In collaboration with Walk Directors, provide support and cultivation for Walk Committee members, including communication, opportunity development, and event engagement. Event Experience & Production Support • Support procurement and distribution planning for key event day experience items, including water, coffee, and snacks. • Assist with signage timelines and project management in collaboration with Walk Directors and third-party production vendors. • Provide on-site support at Walk events as needed, including inventory management and run of show support. • Develop and maintain event materials such as donor briefings and participant lists. • Volunteer outreach and support as needed WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR • 1+ years of experience in fundraising, peer-to-peer events, customer service, or a related field, preferably in a nonprofit or development setting. • Genuine comfort and confidence conducting outreach phone calls; prior phone-based constituent engagement, sales, or customer service experience is a strong plus. • A relationship-builder’s instinct — you enjoy connecting with people, coaching them toward goals, and following through on commitments. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a warm, professional, and mission-centered presence. • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track outreach pipelines, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with DonorDrive, Salesforce, or comparable CRM platforms is a plus. • Ability to handle constituent information with discretion and professionalism. • Availability and willingness to travel to Walk markets for event day support (up to 25% during peak season). • A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to follow-through, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Passion for Shatterproof’s mission to end the addiction crisis.
