Senior Network Engineer

Eversheds Sutherland

• Designs, deploys, and manages network solutions across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and firewall environments. • Maintains the Palo Alto SD-WAN fabric to optimize traffic routing and application performance. • Configures, manages, and troubleshoots Prisma Access to deliver secure, cloud-based network access. • Administers the GlobalProtect VPN infrastructure, including gateway configuration and client deployment. • Manages Cisco switching infrastructure, including VLANs and firmware lifecycle management. • Diagnoses and resolves complex network issues across all platforms-collaborating with IT staff.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a computer-related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Cisco certification: CCIE or CCNP Enterprise required.
  • Palo Alto certification: NGFW Engineer (Specialist) required.
  • Six or more years of hands-on experience with Cisco networks.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto next-generation firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, Prisma Access, and Palo Alto SD-WAN.
  • Experience with Azure cloud networking, including Azure VNet, NSGs, and hybrid connectivity, is required.
  • Strong proficiency in Cisco IOS, DNS, DHCP, network communication protocols, switching and routing, VPN, virtualization, and load balancing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Prisma Access architecture.

This person will provide network design, engineering and administrative support of both physical and virtual networking devices within our SDI environments. This person will be responsible for leveraging state-of-the-art networking technologies, including virtualization and software-defined networking (SDN), to develop and deliver a robust, scalable, network eco-system. He/she will work with various leaders across the enterprise to coordinate network solutions to meet challenges of technology, regulatory, security, and competitive conditions.
