We are currently seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer who will join our innovative team. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES - Java experience in working with HL7 data (experience with HAPI api is a plus) - Help with integration via the HL7 and FHIR protocols - Develop restful webservices in java - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the above integrations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, data analytics or a related field - 5+ years of experience in Java development. Focus on healthcare integration a plus - Extensive experience with HL7 data and FHIR api a must - Experience with Spring Framework (experience with Spring Batch framework is a plus). - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. REQUIRED EQUIPMENT - Must have access to stable, reliable high-speed internet access. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is consistently required to remain in stationary position, constantly operate a computer or other office equipment, and frequently communicate with customers and employees. Must be able to exchange accurate information, with the ability to effectively utilize voice over internet protocol; and repetitive motions using. fingers and forearms in data entry. - Must reside within the contiguous United States. - Must perform all work from within the contiguous United States. - During your employment, you will be expected to maintain a separate office/room within your home to create suitable working conditions and a sense of privacy. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Supervised by: Chief Technology Officer Supervises: None Target Compensation: $100,000 - $145,000 depending on Length of Experience, Education, Demonstrated Skill Set and Certifications.
