Software Engineering Intern

Emma – The Sleep Company

• You will take part in architecture, design, and implementation of Emma’s technology platform, supporting our growth to become the number-one sleep brand in the world • You will implement product features that will help improve people’s sleep and support Emma's core business. • You will support in developing, maintaining, and operating (full DevOps) your team’s tech stack • You will contribute to the improvement of our CI&CD and DevOps & SRE practices • You will be a team player as part of an agile, empowered team, get acquainted with mobile development topics and learn to perfect your code

Job Requirements

  • You are available to **start 1st of March 2026**
  • You are currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Business Informatics, or have equivalent relevant work experience.
  • You are understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, object-oriented programming, and software design patterns.
  • You are familiar with JavaScript or Golang as your primary backend programming language.
  • You are aware of the importance of maintaining a well-organized codebase and proper documentation.
  • You are bringing ideally some first experience in software development and operational practices across the full software development lifecycle, ideally within an E-commerce environment.
  • You are self-organized and interested in taking ownership and guiding the team toward the best solution.
  • You are equipped with strong analytical skills and are an open-minded, creative team player.
  • You are someone for whom having a public GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket account with demonstrable coding projects would be considered a plus.
  • Tech Stack: Typescript/JavaScript/Golang**
