• Lead the design and governance of scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure architectures aligned with the bank’s enterprise architecture and strategic objectives. • Define and maintain infrastructure technology roadmaps that support business growth, digital transformation, and operational excellence. • Act as a key liaison across different technology departments and business units to ensure cohesive and aligned infrastructure solutions. • Drive innovation by modernizing infrastructure through automation, software-defined solutions, hybrid multi-cloud and emerging technologies. • Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors and service providers to ensure solutions meet architectural standards and business needs. • Lead and develop a team of infrastructure architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. • Develop and manage infrastructure architecture budgets, ensuring cost-effective technology investments and alignment with financial planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, information technology, or any related field.
- 12+ years in IT infrastructure roles, with at least 5 years focused on systems architecture preferably in the banking sector.
- Deep expertise in designing and integrating computing platforms (e.g., IBM Power, HPE Synergy) and high-performance storage (SAN/NAS).
- Strong hands-on experience with different operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux, AIX, ESXi).
- In-depth experience in architecting and managing large-scale virtualized environments, including workload optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience with leading HCI platforms (e.g., Nutanix, VMware vSAN), including design, deployment, and scaling in enterprise environments.
- Solid understanding of container platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and their role in modern infrastructure and application delivery models.
- Experience in designing hybrid infrastructure solutions integrating on-premises systems with public/private clouds (Azure, AWS).
- Strong knowledge of data backup, replication, archiving, and disaster recovery strategies ensuring business continuity and compliance.
- Solid understanding of network, network security, database, and cloud architectures and their integration within enterprise infrastructure designs.
- Familiar with infrastructure security principles and regulatory standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
- Demonstrated ability to lead architecture initiatives, work cross-functionally with IT and business units, and communicate effectively with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Professional Certification (e.g., VMware VCAP/VCIX, RHCE, HPE Master ASE, Nutanix NCP, TOGAF)
