Nuclear Control & Instrumentation Design Engineer – Experienced

Assystem

• Functional specification of various processes and equipment • Design of control-command systems: allocation of functions to different systems, architecture of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervision systems (SCADA or SNCC), technical design • Consideration of normative and regulatory constraints (IEC 61511, IEC 61131, etc.) arising from overarching specifications • Preparation of specifications/tender documents for future suppliers responsible for system development and implementation • Participation in the selection of these suppliers.

Job Requirements

  • You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) with a specialization in automation/industrial IT
  • You have at least 10 years’ experience in control-command system design, ideally in the nuclear sector or in other high-safety industries (Defense, Energy), preferably with exposure to systems engineering
  • Ideally familiar with standards such as RCC-E, IEC 61508, IEC 61513, IEC 61226, or other frameworks affecting control-command systems
  • Organized, rigorous, methodical, and capable of synthesizing information
  • Able to propose solutions and make key decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with a high degree of autonomy
