Associate Staff Engineer, ERP Dynamics Technical
Nagarro
• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 technical solutions. • Participate in end-to-end implementation projects, including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support. • Perform technical upgrades and data upgrades across AX versions and to D365 Finance & Operations. • Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems. • Implement and manage data migration activities ensuring data accuracy and performance. • Customize and enhance SSRS reports based on business requirements. • Configure and support AX base components, including security roles, user groups, and database connections. • Manage environment setup, release management, and deployments using DevOps tools. • Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and profiling while following best practices. • Develop and optimize SQL Server components to support application performance. • Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. • Provide technical documentation and support post-go-live activities. • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Total Experience 5+ years
- Hands-on experience as a Microsoft Dynamics AX Technical Consultant.
- Strong expertise in AX 2012 (R2/R3) and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Solid Object-Oriented Programming skills with strong X++ development experience.
- In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in technical upgrades, preferably from AX 2009 / AX 2012 to D365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong knowledge of integrations using: Web services, DIXF, DMF, oData, SOAP, REST, JSON, SSIS, direct SQL Azure Logic Apps and third-party systems
- Experience in complex data migration using DIXF, DMF, and third-party tools.
- Proficiency in SSRS report customization.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012+, including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Hands-on experience with ALM, TFS, and Azure DevOps for environment and release management.
- Knowledge of Exchange, .NET, SharePoint Services, and overall AX technology stack.
- Experience configuring workflows and batch framework in AX/D365.
- Experience in B2B inbound and outbound integrations between AX and non-AX systems.
- Proven experience in at least 4–5 end-to-end project lifecycle implementations.
