Job Description
IT Network Architect
DATAGROUP
• Network architect with vision: You plan and develop stable, scalable, and future‑proof network architectures — proactively, methodically, and with technical finesse. • Project lead with pragmatism: Whether LAN, WAN, or WLAN, you take the lead on exciting infrastructure projects and ensure everything runs smoothly, even when things are rough at the start. • Keeping technology up to date: You introduce modern technologies and evolve our network solutions — for example in the areas of VPN, cloud, or automation. • Expert‑level troubleshooter: You analyze complex fault patterns, identify root causes, and develop smart strategies for lasting improvements — not quick fixes but real solutions. • Documentation expert with a big‑picture view: You not only keep the network running but also maintain up‑to‑date documentation — from the operations manual to clear network diagrams. • Team player with oversight: You know that good networks need more than cables and switches — you bring people together, support partner selection, and keep the big picture in mind. • 3rd‑level support: This is where you come in — calm, competent, and solution‑oriented.
Job Requirements
- You have several years of hands‑on networking experience — planning and operations are familiar territory.
- You are at the forefront of the WLAN/Wi‑Fi domain — certifications like CCNP or even CCIE Enterprise are not just familiar to you, you hold them.
- You are fluent in Python (or at least proficient) and have automated more with Ansible than you can count.
- You have led complex network projects — PRINCE2 or Scrum are not just buzzwords to you.
- Monitoring tools are more than colorful graphs to you — you know what’s alerting and why.
- You can explain technical topics so that non‑technical colleagues understand and truly grasp them.
- Your German is very good, and your English is sufficient for meetings and day‑to‑day business.
Benefits
- Personalized onboarding with a dedicated mentor — you won’t be thrown into the deep end.
- No day is the same: challenging, varied, autonomous — but never boring.
- Flat hierarchies instead of red tape.
- Flexibility as you need it: hybrid work, flexible hours, additional vacation days — this is part of our everyday culture.
- Modernly equipped offices: height‑adjustable desks, dual monitors, quiet rooms and open spaces — whatever you prefer.
- Bike leasing (JobRad) & team spirit: whether road bike or e‑bike — we’ll arrange your new ride.
- Pension plan? We have one, and it comes with a company contribution.
- Our corporate benefits platform offers shopping and experience discounts.
