Financial Controller, NetSuite
Outsourcey
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and supervise the bookkeeper • Review and approve bookkeeping work, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries • Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes • Perform and review NetSuite reconciliations (bank, credit cards, balance sheet accounts) • Prepare, review, and post journal entries in NetSuite • Ensure accurate revenue recognition and expense allocation • Produce weekly financial reports and dashboards for leadership • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) • Monitor cash flow and working capital • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies • Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors as needed • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis • Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting • Maintain documentation and support for audits and financial reviews • Identify process improvements and efficiencies within NetSuite and accounting workflows.
Job Requirements
- Min 5 Years of Proven Experience in a Controller or Senior Accounting role
- Strong experience with NetSuite (required)
- Experience overseeing or managing a bookkeeper or accounting staff
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Strong reconciliation, journal entry, and close process experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with leadership and cross-functional teams.
