• Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads, engage with prospects through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach. Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team. • Qualifying Opportunities: Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and qualify leads based on their interest in cloud security solutions. • Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives to align strategies and ensure smooth handoffs of qualified leads. • CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date information on all prospects and activities in Salesforce, tracking your outreach, meetings, and follow-ups. • Ownership & Accountability: Take full ownership of your sales pipeline, ensure timely follow-ups, and consistently meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs. • Attitude & Resilience: Demonstrate grit and a positive attitude, navigating challenges and rejections with professionalism, while staying focused on long-term success.
Job Requirements
- A passion for sales and technology, ideally with an interest in cloud security and cybersecurity solutions.
- 1-2 years of experience in a business development or sales role focusing on India market
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, processes, and technologies.
- A proactive, positive attitude and a commitment to success

Role Description The Director of Franchise Development owns the full lifecycle of franchise sales, from first inquiry through signed franchise agreement. This role manages all incoming franchise leads, maintains a compliant and organized sales pipeline, and leads candidates through a structured evaluation process focused on alignment, readiness, and long-term success. This is a relationship-driven, consultative sales role that balances performance with discernment. • Collaborate closely with the Networks Lead to monitor and manage the performance of aggregator and wholesaler partners, ensuring alignment with Cover Whale’s growth objectives. • Conduct detailed analysis of production data, identifying trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for increased submissions and premium growth. • Prepare and maintain performance reports, scorecards, and any other tools to provide actionable insights for the Networks vertical. • Support day-to-day partner relationship management by coordinating follow-ups, gathering partner feedback, and assisting in the execution of engagement initiatives. • Assist in the evaluation of current and prospective network partners, providing research and recommendations based on market opportunities and strategic fit. • Coordinate internal communications between underwriting, marketing, and other internal teams to facilitate partner needs and resolve operational issues promptly. • Contribute to the development and refinement of processes and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the Networks vertical. • Other duties as assigned.
