Role Description The Director of Franchise Development owns the full lifecycle of franchise sales, from first inquiry through signed franchise agreement. This role manages all incoming franchise leads, maintains a compliant and organized sales pipeline, and leads candidates through a structured evaluation process focused on alignment, readiness, and long-term success. This is a relationship-driven, consultative sales role that balances performance with discernment. What You’ll Do - Lead Management & Pipeline Ownership - Manage all incoming franchise development leads - Respond to new franchise inquiries within 4 hours - Own and manage the franchise sales pipeline through CRM - Maintain accurate documentation and compliance at every stage - Track and report on pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales forecasts - Franchise Sales & Evaluation Process - Conduct introductory franchise discovery calls - Guide candidates through the franchise application and alignment process - Lead Franchise Disclosure Document reviews with working knowledge of Items 5, 6, 7, and 19 - Coordinate interviews with New Mom School corporate leadership - Organize and manage franchise validation calls - Conduct financial validation and readiness conversations - Coordinate and host Confirmation Days as needed - Drive qualified candidates toward signing while upholding brand standards - Brand Stewardship & Growth - Clearly communicate what makes a successful New Mom School franchise partner - Prioritize long-term fit over short-term deal volume - Protect brand integrity during an accelerated growth phase - Act as a trusted advisor to prospective franchise partners - Sales Performance - Own and achieve franchise sales goals - Continuously refine sales strategy based on data, feedback, and system performance Qualifications - Proven experience in franchise development or franchise sales - Strong knowledge of franchise sales laws and compliance requirements - Hands-on experience reviewing and explaining FDDs, including Items 5, 6, 7, and 19 - Experience managing a high-volume, consultative sales pipeline - Ability to confidently lead financial qualification conversations - Highly organized with strong follow-through - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience - Franchise sales experience within health, wellness, fitness, education, or service-based brands - Experience working with emerging or early-stage franchise systems - Familiarity with CRM tools used for franchise development - Experience in founder-led or mission-driven organizations Compensation & Work Structure - Full-time, remote position - Base salary plus commission - Performance-driven role with meaningful upside tied to growth Benefits - 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Bonus based on performance - Home office stipend - Paid time off - Training & development
