International Tax Manager

BetterMe

• Researching and analyzing tax risks in various operational jurisdictions • Managing tax registrations and filings across a diverse range of tax types, including corporate income tax, VAT, and sales tax applicable to both digital services and physical goods • Supporting tax compliance across business processes, including tax disclosures, invoicing practices, and transaction reporting • Structuring and optimising intra-group tax relations and revenue flows • Responding to tax authority inquiries and audits • Ensuring group-wide transfer pricing policies align with local and OECD regulations • Monitoring global tax developments and regulatory changes to assess potential business impact • Designing and optimizing tax workflows with positive ROI to enhance service quality and manage risks • Liaising with business partners and external tax advisors from a variety of jurisdictions

Job Requirements

  • Fluent English (including legal drafting)
  • 4-5+ years of relevant experience with top-4, an international or top-tier law firm or IT product company
  • Strong understanding of global tax frameworks (OECD guidelines, double tax treaties, VAT, transfer pricing)
  • Hands-on experience with tax compliance and advisory work
  • Initiative and willingness to work on a broad variety of tax matters and to think creatively to solve complex tax issues
  • Result-oriented, well-organized, and self-starter
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Expertise in tax incentives for IT businesses (e.g., Cyprus IP Box, NID) will be a plus
  • Understanding of Pillar 2, CbCR, and Digital Services Taxes will be a plus
  • Experience advising companies throughout the business life cycle on tax matters will be a plus
  • Project management experience and AI usage experience will be a plus
  • Participation in moot court competitions will be a plus
