Job Description

Fractional Chief Marketing Officer, CMO

Vulcury

• Define and refine marketing strategies across multiple businesses, industries, and engagement types. • Establish clear growth priorities, sequencing, and success metrics across initiatives. • Balance near-term demand generation with longer-term brand and authority building. • Provide senior-level oversight and guidance across a broad mix of channels, including paid social and digital advertising, SEO, content marketing, email campaigns, webinars, and media creation. • Lead and mentor a distributed marketing team based primarily in India. • Interface with the U.S.-based CEO and senior leadership on priorities and performance. • Support initiatives related to manufacturing and financial investments as applicable.

Job Requirements

  • Senior marketing leadership experience (typically 12+ years), including executive or head-of-marketing roles.
  • Demonstrated depth across a wide range of marketing channels, both strategic and operational.
  • Experience leading distributed or offshore marketing teams.
  • Strong executive communication skills and comfort working directly with founders and CEOs.
  • Ability to operate effectively across multiple industries and business models.
  • Preferred experience spanning B2B services, industrial/manufacturing, and/or financial or investment-related businesses.
  • Background in growth consulting, venture studios, or multi-brand portfolios.
  • Familiarity with research-led or content-driven growth strategies.
  • Experience supporting complex or multi-stakeholder sales environments.
