• Review client requests for proposals and scopes of work. • Act as Orbital representative at bid walkdowns. • Prepare manhour estimates and proposals. • Lead instrumentation project engineering and develop contractor construction packages including instrument datasheets, P&IDs, equipment plans, cable/conduit routing plans, interconnecting wiring diagrams, loop diagrams and scopes of work. • For larger projects, coordinate with other engineers and designers as required to execute the scope. • Review calculations and deliverables for completeness and accuracy prior to issuance to client. • Support regional business development initiatives as a technical resource. • Drive internal and external quality and design review meetings throughout the course of the project. • Develop, maintain and upgrade technical standards/specifications to be used on specific projects. • Complete all tasks in accordance with design and project execution procedures and guidelines as set forth in corporate Quality Management System.

Role Description Turner Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Lead Estimator to support and lead estimating efforts for heavy civil construction projects throughout the private, public, and municipal sectors. This role focuses on wet utilities, mass excavation, land clearing, and site development and plays a critical role in securing profitable work by producing accurate, competitive bids. The Lead Estimator will work remotely the majority of the time, with periodic travel to job sites for pre-bid walks, site evaluations, and coordination with project teams. Candidates must currently live within a 40-mile radius of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the estimating process for heavy civil construction projects from initial review through final bid submission. - Prepare detailed cost estimates for wet utilities, mass excavation, land clearing, grading, and full site development scopes. - Review plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports to determine accurate quantities, labor, equipment, and material costs. - Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing. - Conduct site visits and pre-bid walkthroughs to assess site conditions, logistics, and risk. - Develop bid strategies and pricing approaches to remain competitive while protecting margins. - Coordinate with operations, project management, and leadership to align estimates with execution plans. - Identify potential risks and opportunities and incorporate them into estimates and proposals. - Maintain estimating databases, historical cost data, and bid tracking records. - Support post-bid reviews, handoffs to operations, and project buyout as needed. Qualifications - Minimum 7–10 years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction. - Proven experience estimating wet utilities, mass excavation, land clearing, and site development projects. - Strong understanding of private, public, and municipal bidding processes. - Proficiency with construction estimating software and takeoff tools (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam, Agtek, Trimble, or similar). - Ability to read and interpret civil plans, specifications, and contracts. - Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with teams. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as required (15–20%). Location & Travel Requirements - Must currently reside within a 40-mile radius of Tulsa, OK. - Position is 80–85% remote, with 15–20% travel to job sites for site visits and meetings. • Design, build, and optimize Ironclad workflows, approval chains, templates, metadata structures, and automation rules. • Own end-to-end Ironclad contract lifecycle management functionality including intake forms, routing, negotiation, redlines, signature workflows, repository configuration, reporting, and lifecycle automation. • Architect and maintain integrations between Ironclad and Salesforce, including CPQ, Opportunity, Quote, and Order objects. • Work closely with Legal and Deal Desk to translate contract policy into scalable workflow logic. • Develop Ironclad API integrations, webhooks, and data syncs to internal systems (Salesforce, DocuSign, Intacct, etc.). • Partner with Salesforce engineering to ensure consistent data models and enforce governance across CLM and CPQ. • Optimize CPQ-to-CLM processes (quote syncing, pricing attributes, approval chains, contract generation triggers). • Build scalable, audit-compliant solutions using best practices in configuration, version control, and deployment. • Analyze contract lifecycle bottlenecks and implement automation to reduce cycle time and manual work. • Establish best practices for Ironclad workflow design, template governance, and metadata taxonomy. • Create operational dashboards (Ironclad Insights, Salesforce reports) to support Legal, Deal Desk, and GTM leadership. • Provide documentation, design specifications, and cross-team training on CLM functionality. • Ensure all Ironclad and Salesforce changes comply with SOX and ITGC standards. • Partner with business stakeholders to ideate, prioritize, and deliver high-impact CLM improvements. • Maintain strong relationships with Legal, Sales Ops, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment on processes. • Evaluate and implement AI-driven features (Ironclad AI Assist, clause extraction, risk scoring) where applicable. • Monitor system performance, workflow adoption, and data quality to drive continuous improvement.
