Role Description Turner Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Lead Estimator to support and lead estimating efforts for heavy civil construction projects throughout the private, public, and municipal sectors. This role focuses on wet utilities, mass excavation, land clearing, and site development and plays a critical role in securing profitable work by producing accurate, competitive bids. The Lead Estimator will work remotely the majority of the time, with periodic travel to job sites for pre-bid walks, site evaluations, and coordination with project teams. Candidates must currently live within a 40-mile radius of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the estimating process for heavy civil construction projects from initial review through final bid submission. - Prepare detailed cost estimates for wet utilities, mass excavation, land clearing, grading, and full site development scopes. - Review plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports to determine accurate quantities, labor, equipment, and material costs. - Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing. - Conduct site visits and pre-bid walkthroughs to assess site conditions, logistics, and risk. - Develop bid strategies and pricing approaches to remain competitive while protecting margins. - Coordinate with operations, project management, and leadership to align estimates with execution plans. - Identify potential risks and opportunities and incorporate them into estimates and proposals. - Maintain estimating databases, historical cost data, and bid tracking records. - Support post-bid reviews, handoffs to operations, and project buyout as needed. Qualifications - Minimum 7–10 years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction. - Proven experience estimating wet utilities, mass excavation, land clearing, and site development projects. - Strong understanding of private, public, and municipal bidding processes. - Proficiency with construction estimating software and takeoff tools (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam, Agtek, Trimble, or similar). - Ability to read and interpret civil plans, specifications, and contracts. - Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with teams. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as required (15–20%). Location & Travel Requirements - Must currently reside within a 40-mile radius of Tulsa, OK. - Position is 80–85% remote, with 15–20% travel to job sites for site visits and meetings. Preferred Qualifications - Experience leading or mentoring junior estimators. - Familiarity with DOT, municipal, or public works projects. - Civil construction field experience or operations background. - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. • Design, build, and optimize Ironclad workflows, approval chains, templates, metadata structures, and automation rules. • Own end-to-end Ironclad contract lifecycle management functionality including intake forms, routing, negotiation, redlines, signature workflows, repository configuration, reporting, and lifecycle automation. • Architect and maintain integrations between Ironclad and Salesforce, including CPQ, Opportunity, Quote, and Order objects. • Work closely with Legal and Deal Desk to translate contract policy into scalable workflow logic. • Develop Ironclad API integrations, webhooks, and data syncs to internal systems (Salesforce, DocuSign, Intacct, etc.). • Partner with Salesforce engineering to ensure consistent data models and enforce governance across CLM and CPQ. • Optimize CPQ-to-CLM processes (quote syncing, pricing attributes, approval chains, contract generation triggers). • Build scalable, audit-compliant solutions using best practices in configuration, version control, and deployment. • Analyze contract lifecycle bottlenecks and implement automation to reduce cycle time and manual work. • Establish best practices for Ironclad workflow design, template governance, and metadata taxonomy. • Create operational dashboards (Ironclad Insights, Salesforce reports) to support Legal, Deal Desk, and GTM leadership. • Provide documentation, design specifications, and cross-team training on CLM functionality. • Ensure all Ironclad and Salesforce changes comply with SOX and ITGC standards. • Partner with business stakeholders to ideate, prioritize, and deliver high-impact CLM improvements. • Maintain strong relationships with Legal, Sales Ops, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment on processes. • Evaluate and implement AI-driven features (Ironclad AI Assist, clause extraction, risk scoring) where applicable. • Monitor system performance, workflow adoption, and data quality to drive continuous improvement.

• Determines technical feasibility by evaluating requirements and analysis as well as proposed solutions • Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming • Enhances existing solutions to match client requirements by configuring and customizing software using Actimize software, SQL and other technologies • Tests and approves software solutions, configurations and customizations • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues. • Utilizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process • Collaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions • Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques • Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems • Serve as a mentor to less experienced software engineers • Estimate level of effort, evaluate new options of similar technology, offer suggestions to improve processes, and provide comments on some design aspects • Apply a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing technical solutions in a timely fashion • Review product and/or application information including manuals and brochures for technical accuracy • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, diagrams, clear code and comments
