Sourcing Unicorns

• Establish and drive visual design direction across projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, project parameters, and client objectives. • Able to contribute hands-on design work when needed—creating style frames, type treatments, UI systems, and toolkits. • Lead and mentor designers, fostering growth and elevating studio-wide design standards. • Collaborate with creatives, technologists, producers, and strategists to align visual design with creative strategy, user experience, and technical feasibility. • Oversee and refine design outputs, ensuring consistency, clarity, and craft excellence across deliverables. • Present and articulate design intent and rationale to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. • Shape the visual direction of pitches and proposals, contributing to new business opportunities. • Stay ahead of emerging trends, tools, and workflows—including AI-driven exploration—and bring them into the design process.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Design, Motion Design, Interaction Design, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of design experience in an agency or studio setting, with a portfolio demonstrating mastery of immersive and interactive design.
  • Hands-on expertise in visual design, typography, UI systems, and brand-driven execution.
  • Strong ability to design and direct for motion and interaction, especially for immersive and large-scale formats.
  • Experience creating content for large digital canvases, interactive environments, and touchpoints.
  • Expert proficiency with industry-standard tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Figma.
  • Familiarity with 3D design tools (C4D, Blender, or similar) is a strong plus.
  • Ability to integrate AI tools and workflows into design exploration and production.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present, defend, and refine design decisions.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, capable of balancing multiple projects with precision and consistency.
