• Ensuring a stable, secure and high-performance Digital Workplace operation through 2nd-level support for modern enterprise workspace environments • Analyzing, troubleshooting and permanently resolving complex incidents in Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) • Operating, administering and continuously improving Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and remote access solutions in hybrid cloud and on-premises scenarios • Administering and supporting Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS), including integration into Citrix and AVD environments • Managing, configuring and troubleshooting thin clients in VDI and AVD environments to ensure a reliable user experience • Proactive service optimization, standardization and automation within managed services, and collaboration with 3rd-level support, engineering and project teams, including technical documentation and operational concepts
Job Requirements
- Initial professional experience with RDS, Citrix or comparable digital workplace and VDI solutions
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies, in particular Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Windows 11, as well as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
- Experience with virtualization and hypervisors such as VMware, Hyper-V or XenServer in hybrid IT and cloud environments
- Structured approach to problem-solving
- Pragmatic problem-solving, strong communication skills, flexibility and self-organization
- On-site visits to customers — approximately 20% of working time, primarily in southern Germany
- Additional knowledge or certifications, e.g. Azure AZ-140, Citrix (CCAV, CCE-V, CCP-V), IGEL, Microsoft 365, as well as basic knowledge of firewalls, certificates or endpoint security (e.g. Sophos)
- German and English language skills
