Job Description

Project Manager – Contracts Admin, Residential Construction

• Support residential projects from pre-construction through to completion • Assist with project programming, sequencing, and milestone tracking • Monitor construction progress and flag risks or delays • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants • Provide regular project updates to NSW-based stakeholders • Administer HIA / MBA (NSW) residential building contracts • Prepare subcontract agreements, scopes of work, and purchase orders • Manage variations, EOTs, RFIs, and contractual correspondence • Track progress claims, payment schedules, and final accounts • Maintain accurate project and contract documentation • Maintain project budgets, cost plans, and cost-to-complete forecasts • Review subcontractor invoices and claims for accuracy and compliance • Assist with procurement comparisons and cost reporting • Identify cost risks and support value-engineering initiatives • Support NSW compliance documentation requirements • Assist with defect management, practical completion, and final handovers • Maintain structured digital filing systems for audits and compliance

Job Requirements

  • Australian residential construction experience (NSW) is essential
  • 8+ years hands-on residential construction experience required
  • Strong background in Project Management and Contracts Administration
  • Solid understanding of NSW residential construction processes and workflows
  • Able to manage multiple residential projects simultaneously
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Confident working remotely with Australian construction teams
  • Preferred Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Building, Engineering , or similar
  • Experience with construction systems such as Procore, Aconex, Buildxact, Cheops, Jobpac , or similar
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
