Pricing & Packaging Manager
EcoVadis
• Develop global pricing strategy, from analysis to launch: Develop and execute the pricing strategy to maximize both short-term and long-term objectives. Including: Track market trends (customer buying patterns, changing market conditions, leading macroeconomic indicators, competitive pricing, inflation) to inform approaches; Work across internal teams to identify pricing needs and feedback; Analyze growth and profitability metrics, and identify opportunities to improve pricing at the solution-level, package-level, feature-level and geography-level; Work with Market Research to run market research to identify customer and prospect needs, gaps, pain points and perceptions in the area of pricing; Share pricing insights on an ongoing basis and as needed with internal teams like executive leadership, strategy, product management, frontline, RevOps, and across marketing. • Test, launch, monitor and adjust pricing approaches: Manage internal project teams across RevOps, Strategy, Solutions Consulting, Tech teams, Marketing and Product teams to deliver, test and launch approaches; Provide recommendations on discount levels (across solutions, features, packages); Build pricing documentation and objection-handling enablement for frontline teams; Contribute to business plans, helping to set and monitor targets, revenue and profitability; Analyze the ongoing impact of pricing changes (financial and other impact).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor or masters degree in business, economics, science, or a related field
- 6+ years relevant business experience in pricing, revenue optimization, finance or strategy in the B2B Tech or SaaS industries (highly preferred)
- Experience analyzing, defining, recommending, testing and executing pricing and packaging strategies for a B2B SaaS company with a multi-product / solution portfolio
- Solid knowledge of pricing and packaging approaches and strategies, and can recommend the right approach to achieve different goals
- Solid experience in experimentation and piloting to test approaches
- Strong financial acumen and quantitative skills: data analysis, scenario and decision modeling, performance tracking using metrics and KPIs
- Commercial mindset - a focus on driving business growth and profitability by understanding customer needs, value drivers, and solutions
- Excellent skills distilling complex models into key insights and clear and actionable outputs and recommendations
- Comfortable creating and running multiple cross-functional projects from concept to actionable output
- Solid experience giving clear guidance and effective communications with cross-functional teams
- Solid project management experience in a cross-functional environment
- Highly collaborative (culturally sensitive, great listening, interaction, adaptability, stakeholder management)
- Strategic thinking, and ability to effectively bring concepts to execution
- A self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial and highly collaborative environment
- Attention to detail, drive for quality, and ability to deliver results quickly
- English fluency required, other languages a plus. [preferred]
