In addition to managing a small team, you’ll own a small number of district accounts yourself, working directly with districts to support their implementation and deliver professional development. This is a full-time remote position for candidates living in Texas. What You'll Be Doing - Stay informed on statewide initiatives impacting K-12 schools and districts within Texas, and ensure IXL implementations and professional development are aligned. - Create and maintain a positive culture that drives performance and outcomes. - Collaborate closely with the sales team to strategize and grow customer relationships in Texas. - Partner with district leaders in Texas to create and implement a professional development plan that supports a successful IXL implementation aligned to their goals. - Travel to support districts, provide professional development, and observe team members—up to 60% possible travel during back-to-school season and up to 40% the remainder of the year. - Regularly observe professional development and provide actionable feedback to your team. - Analyze and use data to drive decision-making and strategize next steps. Qualifications - BA/BS degree - 2+ years of experience leading a professional development team - K-12 teaching experience - An experienced people manager who fosters collaboration, builds a positive team culture, and helps others grow - Exceptional presentation skills; comfortable presenting to teachers and administrators - Excellent interpersonal skills - dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude - Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish - Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology - Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills - Must live close to a major airport
