Merchandising Pricing & Systems Analyst - Brilliant Earth About the Role Brilliant Earth is looking for a Merchandising Pricing & Systems Analyst to sit at the intersection of data and analytics, pricing strategy, and technology. This role will be critical in turning analytical models into actionable merchant insights, building repeatable workflows, and partnering with our Tech and Product teams to embed smarter pricing logic across our systems. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, can translate complexity into clarity, and wants to help shape the future of pricing at a fast-growing luxury brand. What You'll Do - Develop and maintain pricing analytics frameworks, including indicators, guardrails, and scenario analyses that support data-driven pricing decisions across the assortment - Translate AI and predictive pricing model outputs into clear, merchant-usable insights that drive confidence and trust in pricing recommendations - Build and maintain competitive pricing intelligence frameworks, monitoring market positioning, promotional trends, impact to our performance, and pricing shifts across key competitors to inform strategic decisions - Operationalize pricing analytics into scalable, repeatable workflows that reduce manual effort and increase consistency across the team - Partner with Technology and Product teams on the development, requirements gathering, testing, and adoption of internal pricing tools - Serve as a key liaison between Merchandising and technical teams, ensuring pricing logic is accurately and efficiently embedded in systems and tools - Support cross-functional efficiency initiatives within the broader Merchandising organization, identifying opportunities to streamline processes through better use of data, tooling, and automation What You Bring - 5+ years of experience in merchandising analytics, pricing strategy, commercial analytics, or a related field — ideally within retail, e-commerce, or a luxury or jewelry environment - Strong analytical foundation with hands-on experience building pricing models, scenario analyses, or decision-support frameworks - Demonstrated ability to translate complex data or model outputs into clear narratives and recommendations for non-technical audiences - Experience working with or alongside AI/ML pricing models, with an understanding of model outputs, limitations, and how to communicate them effectively - Familiarity with retail pricing concepts including elasticity, competitive positioning, margin analysis, and long-tail assortment management - Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Technology, Product, or Engineering teams — experience with requirements gathering, UAT, or tool rollout a plus - Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Looker, Domo, or similar); Python or R a plus - Excellent communication and project management skills, with a track record of turning ambiguous problems into structured, repeatable solutions - Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (preferred) What We Offer - Career Growth.
