Engineering Manager
Dome Group
• Managing and growing a team of 5 engineers (2 tech leads, 1 senior, 2 intermediates), focusing on their performance, career development, and professional growth • Empowering your team to build high-performance, production-ready solutions while maintaining our ultra-low latency requirements (sub-5ms p99) • Defining and evolving best practices, coding guidelines, and internal processes that enable the team to work efficiently • Contributing to the technological vision and technical roadmap of our detection engine, especially as we evolve it to detect increasingly sophisticated AI-driven threats and autonomous agents • Leading cross-team initiatives in close collaboration with the Streaming Engine squad, Product, SRE, and Threat Research teams • Defining and tracking team objectives through OKRs, balancing innovation with operational excellence • Contributing hands-on to the Java codebase (~20% of your time), staying technically sharp and close to the challenges your team faces • Participating in on-call rotations alongside your team to ensure production reliability
Job Requirements
- Have 7 years in engineering management roles, demonstrating a proven track record of building and scaling teams
- Are proficient in Java and have experience building high-performance, low-latency systems at scale
- Have successfully grown engineers across different seniority levels, from intermediate to senior and tech lead positions
- Balance a metrics-driven approach with a people-first mindset, adapting your management style to what works best for your team
- Are comfortable being hands-on with code (~30% of your time) while excelling at the strategic and people aspects of the role
- Thrive in an environment where both greenfield development and optimization/maintenance work coexist
- Are comfortable with on-call responsibilities and understand the importance of production reliability
- Have strong collaboration skills and enjoy working closely with adjacent teams in a fast-paced environment.

Il participe, sous l'égide du Chef de service, à l'organisation et animation du travail au sein du service et à l'articulation des actions entre unités et avec les autres services de la DDTM qui vise notamment au développement, au sein de la DDTM, d'une approche globale et transversale des questions d'aménagement, d'urbanisme et de planifications. Il pourra être amené à assurer les permanences de la DDTM (volontariat). Sous l'autorité du chef de service, Pierre Yves GESLOT, qu'il seconde en binôme avec l'autre adjoint. Management exercé dans le poste : Encadrement des unités partagé avec le chef du service et le deuxième adjoint. Relations internes et externes : Les autres services de la DDTM, la DREAL, les autres services de l'État, les communes et collectivités territoriales, les usagers et professionnels, le corps préfectoral, différents organismes et agences publics ou parapublics. Qualifications - Connaître les principaux enjeux liés à la stratégie de développement et d'aménagement des territoires et aux jeux des acteurs locaux. - Savoir mobiliser les compétences et la capacité d'expertise du service et des autres unités et services de la DDTM. - Avoir des aptitudes confirmées à l'analyse et à la synthèse. - Savoir encadrer et piloter le travail de ses collaborateurs, suivre et analyser la production. - Avoir le sens de l'organisation et savoir planifier les tâches. - Être force de proposition et d'initiative, savoir rendre compte et alerter. - Être capable de négocier, d'argumenter et de communiquer avec les partenaires internes et externes du service. - Savoir utiliser les outils du travail collaboratif de la DDTM62. - Connaître la législation et la réglementation dans les domaines de l'aménagement, de l'urbanisme serait un plus.
