Account Manager – Advanced Surgery

• You independently manage your sales territory, maintain existing customer relationships and proactively identify new business opportunities within the hospital sector. • You support surgical procedures, conduct product trainings and workshops, and position Baxter as a trusted partner for surgeons and clinical staff. • Based on thorough customer analyses, you develop tailored strategies to increase sales, perform price and revenue analyses, and plan actions to ensure sustainable profitability. • You cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and decision-makers in purchasing, pharmacy and hospital management — fostering long-term partnerships. • You support the introduction of new products through conceptual product evaluations and assist with scientific events, peer-to-peer (P2P) workshops and symposia. • In close coordination with Marketing, Medical, Supply Chain and Bids & Tenders, you drive business development in your region.
Job Requirements
- Completed degree in a medical, natural science, business or health economics field — recent graduates straight from university are explicitly welcome, particularly medical doctors.
- Certificate as a pharmaceutical representative (IHK) or qualification according to §75 of the German Medicinal Products Act (AMG) — can be obtained subsequently for career starters.
- Initial practical experience in a clinical environment is advantageous but not required.
- Enjoyment of working in the operating room environment and direct interaction with surgeons.
- High degree of initiative, willingness to learn, and strong communication and presentation skills.
- Confident use of digital tools and good command of English.
