Senior Applications Engineer
Monolithic Power Systems, Inc.
• Define analog IC products and develop/debug reference circuits • Write datasheets and application/design notes • Provide application support and technical training • Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing • Develop application reference circuits and power management solutions for Data Center/AI applications • Hands-on lab bench evaluations, system and board level debugging, and prototype demonstrations • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support existing products and drive new product development • Write promotion materials for MPS products
Job Requirements
- MSEE or higher is required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in switch mode power supply designs especially in multi-phase core power design
- Familiar with lab tools like oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, e-loads, frequency analyzer, etc.
- Prior work experience in high power/high current multi-phase products is highly preferred, proven problem-solving capability
- Experience with simulation tool like Simplis, Maxwell, Icepak, etc is preferred
- Experience in PCB design/layout is a plus
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Self-motivated
