Oklo is a fast-moving startup where you will be responsible for tackling a wide range of challenges in reactor design and analysis. A nuclear background is not required, but a healthy curiosity and eagerness to learn are essential in this role. - Transform and optimize the storage of reactor data and physics results - Design and configure CI/CD pipelines to perform multiphysics analyses - Build tools for reactor engineers to visualize, compare, and evaluate reactor designs and their physics - Integrate simulation tools into our analyses pipelines - Implement physics kernels to solve unanswered problems, or to improve performance of existing models - Develop reactor optimization schemes and statistical experiments to inform design changes - Identify and improve process-related inefficiencies in reactor design that can be addressed with software Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience - 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience (internships, co-ops, or significant projects are a plus) - Fluency in Python - Proficiency with Git - Curiosity and passion for nuclear power, closing the nuclear fuel cycle, and sustainable energy generation Requirements - Experience with CI/CD, preferably GitLab - Experience with Rust - Experience with Typescript/Javascript (especially Svelte) - Experience with optimization, statistics, or design of experiments Benefits - $80,000-$115,000 compensation - Flexible time off - Equity - Competitive pay - 401k - Health insurance - FSA - Flexible work hours - Other benefits Company Description Oklo Inc. is developing fast fission power plants to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy at scale; establishing a domestic supply chain for critical radioisotopes; and advancing nuclear fuel recycling to convert nuclear waste into clean energy. Oklo was the first to receive a site use permit from the U.S. Department of Energy for a commercial advanced fission plant, was awarded fuel material from Idaho National Laboratory, and submitted the first custom combined license application for an advanced reactor to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Oklo is also developing advanced fuel recycling technologies in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. National Laboratories.

• Candidate shall provide Risk Engineering technical consultations to a diverse book of business by providing virtual surveys and/or services where applicable for complex businesses • Candidate shall perform Risk Engineering consultations to underwriting and agents providing expectations of virtual customer service engagements • Candidate shall provide ongoing technical support to policyholders, producers, and other customers to help them with safety and health issues through recommendations that are designed to reduce losses (known and potential) and solve business problems • The candidate shall assist in creating/implementing innovative virtual tools and resources to promote and enhance the experience of the client provided with virtual services • The Sr. Risk Engineering Virtual Consultant shall create service strategies that address trends and provides a strong customer experience • Work in a highly collaborative environment and participate in a team approach, engaging with our underwriters and other business partners, to deliver sound business decisions

• Work on the development and evolution of the company’s products, participating in the Product Committee with technical and market contributions. • Conduct research and studies of new technologies, supporting the definition of viable solutions aligned with business needs. • Prepare the Product Plan, including requirements analysis, feasibility study, and technical design. • Develop, review, and maintain high-complexity functional and technical specifications. • Plan and monitor the development of features, defining stages, deadlines, and recording tasks in project management tools. • Guide the technical team regarding implementation, database structure, and other system components. • Execute quality tests, validate adjustments and fixes, ensuring the stability and standards of deliveries. • Build, release, and present project versions and features to stakeholders. • Perform other activities inherent to the Development area.
