Job Description
Working Student – Business Operations, Administrative Processing
DAMEDIC GmbH
• Case approval: You review and release cases in the hospital information system (KIS/HIS) after the medical review is completed. You ensure that all verification steps are complete and correct. • Daily system tasks: You regularly retrieve the current processing lists per client, log into the respective client systems and work through the cases carefully. • Documentation: You record each release immediately in the hospital information system (KIS/HIS) by changing the status — so it is always clear which case was processed. • Detecting anomalies: You report technical or procedural anomalies — for example missing lists or technical problems with the release process — directly to the responsible contacts. (No medical assessment of content.) • Carefulness & traceability: You know that a few clicks can have major consequences. Precision, patience and a structured working style are therefore indispensable.
Job Requirements
- You are enrolled at a university, ideally in a degree program related to healthcare, business, administration, medicine, IT or a comparable field.
- You work extremely carefully and precisely — no detail escapes you.
- You have basic technical understanding (e.g., file management, Excel).
- You communicate clearly and responsibly, especially when you notice technical or organizational anomalies.
- You document diligently and keep an overview even when performing routine tasks.
- You are reliable and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
- You have German language skills at a minimum of C1 level, both spoken and written.
- Initial experience in healthcare, process work or a data/IT environment is a plus but not a requirement.
Benefits
- A job that matters: Your work helps hospitals bill services in a timely and correct manner — an important contribution to the healthcare system.
- Opportunities to grow with the tasks: We work on complex challenges every day. Good ideas are heard and implemented.
- More than a cog in the machine: With us you take on responsibility from day one and see the impact of your work directly.
- Remote with a personal touch: Work flexibly from anywhere — in a team that values personal exchange despite a remote structure.
