Mid-Level DevOps Engineer
Experian
• Design, develop, implement, and support infrastructure automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools. • Provide operational support for global DevOps platforms and self-service automation, ensuring availability and performance. • Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls, including OS hardening, patching, and secure configurations. • Identify manual operational processes and develop automation solutions, maintaining and refactoring existing code. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, adhere to change management and coding standards, and produce clear documentation to support alignment and knowledge sharing. • Ensure availability and reliability of production servers and applications by participating in on-call rotations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation in enterprise environments.
- Linux administration (Red Hat, SUSE) and Windows Server administration.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools: Ansible, Terraform.
- Scripting/programming skills: Bash, PowerShell, YAML, Python.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Skills in server provisioning, patching, and OS security hardening.
- Experience with monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
- Experience with agile processes (Scrum) and ITIL-based operations.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Advanced English and availability to travel to São Carlos/SP when required.
