• Help define and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for the Site Reliability Engineering function. • Provide leadership and mentorship to more junior SREs, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. • Collaborate with leadership and other stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment. • Take active participation, collaborate effectively with development teams, and influence the design of a highly reliable and scalable infrastructure, leveraging cloud technologies and industry best practices. • Collaborate with development teams at all stages of the product development lifecycle to ensure systems are resilient (observable, fault-tolerant, recoverable, scalable) and performant. • Drive the adoption, definition, and improvement of Service Level Objectives (SLOs). • Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing solutions to detect and respond to incidents. • Oversee incident response efforts, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime, and effective RCA/post-mortems. • Automate every operational task, with a special focus on fast incident detection & recovery. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on system reliability and performance. • Champion reliability as a core product feature, not an afterthought.

• Responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and efficiency of application environments • Focus on system reliability, automation, and seamless deployment pipelines • Monitor system health and troubleshoot production issues • Support CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate with teams across IT, Development, and Operations to enhance system performance • Facilitate the transition to cloud-based infrastructure and modern DevOps practices

• Own the reliability and stability of production data pipelines and data platform services • Diagnose and resolve data pipeline failures, delays, and data quality issues in production environments • Investigate issues across distributed data systems (e.g., Spark/EMR workloads, ingestion pipelines, warehouse performance) • Lead or support incident response, including triage, mitigation, and long-term resolution • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement durable fixes to prevent recurrence • Define and improve data SLAs (freshness, latency, completeness) and ensure adherence • Design and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability for data systems • Develop automation and tooling to reduce operational toil and improve system resilience • Contribute to disaster recovery (DR) and resiliency planning, including backup validation and recovery workflows • Partner with engineering teams to improve pipeline design, reliability, and operational readiness • Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation • Participate in occasional off-hours support for production data systems when required
