• Assist with technical discovery & qualification early in the sales process. • Craft demos that translate functional capabilities into business value for our prospects. • Collaborate with AEs on best approach to sales cycles • Own the technical portion of the sales cycle in guiding our prospects through structured, milestone-driven proofs of concept, leading to a technical win. • Ensure successful transition to post-sales through effective internal knowledge sharing • Maintain and upskill your own industry expertise and knowledge of the competitive landscape. • Embody the voice of the customer with Product Management in helping steer the product roadmap.

Job Requirements

  • Have 3-5 years of experience in a technical pre-sales role
  • Python as a second language
  • Love that at a startup great impact comes with great responsibility
  • Comfortable speaking to rooms of mixed-responsibility stakeholders among finance, FinOps, developers, SREs, and executives
  • Passionate about discovering prospects’ business challenges and what they need to overcome them

As a PLS Sales Engineer, you will be accountable for product line revenue goals by developing the corporate technical go to market strategy and overseeing key account technical pre-sales activities. You will be responsible for building, evangelizing, positioning, and architecting the industry's leading cloud data management and security platform for a mix of enterprise, mid-market, and small business customers throughout North America.
