• The Business Development Agent (BDA) is the individual within the sales team who is responsible for creating, cultivating, and maintaining new business opportunities. • They use a variety of methods including networking, cold calling, and social media to connect with referral partners and clients. • Build and carry out strategic initiatives meant to bring new clients to the Bank. • Meet with perspective new clients within the industry, such as but not limited to: Real Estate Agents, Financial Planners, Attorneys (Divorce Attorneys, Closing Attorneys, Elder Law), Title Agents, Insurance Providers, Banks /Credit Unions, Property Managers, Builders, Human Resource Departments, Relocation Companies, Clients.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • Experience working in the real estate and mortgage industry.
  • Appropriate state licenses, if required.
  • Enjoys meeting new people and building relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Personable and able to display high levels of customer service.
  • Organized and willing to follow a proven system.
  • Self-Motivated and shows initiative.
  • Driven by results and metrics.
  • This position doesn’t require a Mortgage Loan Officer License. This BDA will not take a loan application (1003) or discuss rates with any prospective consumer or industry participant.
