• Design and build new backend services and features, from initial implementation to production. • Own the full lifecycle of the software you work on, including design, testing, deployment and monitoring. • Work on systems that handle high traffic, up to thousand rps, terabyte-scale datasets, and learn how to design for reliability and scale. • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to turn requirements into working, shippable software. • Contribute to a shared codebase by writing clear, tested code and improving existing solutions where needed. • Learn continuously by experimenting with new tools, frameworks, and design and architecture patterns.

• Leading the design, development and implementation of robust scalable software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements • Translating product requirements into system design and architecture using SSIS and Azure Data Factory • Analyzing and optimizing SQL performance, leveraging advanced techniques such as SQL Profiler and SQL Execution Plans to identify bottlenecks and improve query performance • Applying your knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations to system logic and design • Diagnosing root cause issues and communicating findings clearly to internal stakeholders • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless database interactions • Providing mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, developing their technical skills and best practices

• Build features and components for central AI starter kits: Agent and workflow components, RAG pipelines, data connectors, lightweight UI where needed • Implement strong engineering hygiene: Tests, linting, code review participation, CI/CD contributions • Clear documentation and runbooks for what you build • Help adapt central patterns to BU contexts under supervision • Contribute to show-and-tell demos and case study write-ups • Work spec-first, keep changes small, and prove behaviour with tests and evals.

• Contribute to systems that support integrations, workflows, APIs, and internal tooling across the Nucleus platform • Build out new components for our ReactJS frontend • Work with third party REST APIs to build new ETL integrations • Write and improve automated tests to increase reliability and confidence • Debug issues and learn how to diagnose problems in distributed systems • Collaborate in code reviews and technical discussions with your team
