We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team and spearhead our electrification initiatives in the automotive industry. This role will have a focus in developing our position with automotive manufacturers as well has coordinate the Electrification sales strategy within our NASCAR partnership. The Automotive Segment Leader - Electrification will be responsible for leading and managing the electrification low and medium voltage gear product line opportunities within the segment. This role involves strategic planning, business development, and cross-functional collaboration to drive the adoption and integration of ABB Electrification products for ABB Distribution Solutions, Smart Power and Smart Buildings offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the electrification industry, with a preferred understanding of the automotive industry and players as we as a proven track record of leadership and innovation. The work model for the role is: remote (#Li-Remote) but the individual must live in either the central or eastern time zone. The position also requires frequent travel and weekend events. Your role and responsibilities: - Drive the strategic direction for ABB’s Electrification portfolio—building segment strategy, analyzing market trends, and shaping the technical roadmap based on OEM and customer needs. - Lead cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, marketing, sales, and regional teams to develop, launch, and execute electrification solutions while maintaining a strong pipeline and delivering $100M in annual segment revenue. - Identify and pursue growth opportunities through partnerships, market expansion, and competitive analysis, while representing ABB at industry events and strengthening key stakeholder relationships. - Support major accounts—including ABB’s NASCAR partnership—while consolidating global market insights to guide business planning, segment strategy, and product gap closure for the automotive industry. Qualifications for the role: - Bachelor's degree preferred (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience - Strong technical experience and understanding of the automotive market, including technology trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape (Automotive racing knowledge is a plus). - Experience in conducting market analysis and business development plans with solid structured approach. - Strong communication, team player, collaboration mindset, and leadership skills with agile mindset - Willingness to travel as needed, including multiple events on weekends - Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $142,500 and $228,000 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus. As a Property Claims Specialist, you help review claims and issue claims settlement directives. You provide settlement coaching for medium- to high-complexity claims and help claims advisors develop their technical skills. • Investigate and resolve Homeowners claims of minor to moderate complexity in a timely and efficient manner. Document with photographs, measurements, recorded interviews as needed, write a repair estimate to capture damages, and complete thorough file notes. • Ability to perform field inspections at least 50% of work time.
