Title: Senior Transmission Line Designer 1 - Grid Location: Phoenix United States Job ID: 2026-22091 Full time Description This position allows for a hybrid / flexible work schedule with a mix of work spent on site at the Sargent & Lundy office. - This position will offer you the the opportunity to work in a project team environment with engineers and other Electrical and Structural designers and/or engineers in the development of transmission/distribution line drawings/designs. - You will have the opportunity to apply your computer-aided drafting/design skills, while receiving hands-on training in 3D design software environments, such as AutoCAD 3D and/or MicroStation. - Some of your responsibilities will include the development of transmission line plans and profile drawings, transmission/distribution line hardware details, material lists, and grounding details. - You will be involved in creating master sketches to scale showing relation of proposed installations to existing facilities and exact specifications and dimensions. In preparing your drawings, you will confer directly with engineering staff in interpreting input from a variety of sources, such as engineering specifications, weight and volume calculations, and stress factors. - You may accompany and assist other project team members on walkdowns at client facilities to gather information for your design project. - While interfacing with vendors and construction contractors, you may be given the opportunity to explain your drawings so appropriate design adjustments can be made. Essential skills and experience: - An Associate’s Degree in drafting, or a high school diploma and 1 or more years drafting course work or equivalent technical experience. - Must be proficient in AutoCAD. - 10 or more years of experience in design/drafting of Transmission Lines. - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, drawings, and models. - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including the ability to relate various equipment to a technical design. - Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of the computer. - Ability to multi-task from project to project. - Strong communication skills (verbal and written). - Attention to detail. Valued but not required skills and experience: - Experience using Microstation, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or GIS software. • The Power and Signal Distribution (PASD) PI Release Engineer will be responsible for the design and release of wiring harness assemblies and related components. • Coordinate drawing creation in both 2D Capital XC and 3D CAD release in Teamcenter (NX) and validation of released components in the vehicle and component environments. • Support vehicle manufacturing/supplier facilities for entire life cycle, manage plant design issues along with change requests from both the plant and suppliers. • Manage large amounts of data/changes that must be incorporated into the current/future designs.

• Learn the building design process and the pursuit process • Attend client meetings with senior technical staff members and prepare meeting notes documenting relevant decisions and discussions • Prepare Revit models and/or AutoCAD drawings • Assist other technical staff members with job site inspections to determine existing conditions and extent of progress made by contractors • Perform delegated tasks from senior staff • Attend and contribute to internal team, discipline, and project meetings • Regularly document, update, and maintain team-related processes, workflows, and best practices • Actively initiate and participate in discussions about project challenges, process improvements, and other topics that enhance internal documentation and contribute to the team’s success and collaboration • Perform other work-related duties as assigned • Ensure timesheets/expense reports are accurate and up-to-date daily • Achieve billed revenue target each quarter

• Create highly customizable presentation templates in Keynote and PowerPoint • Coordinate and design content for executive-level presentations • Collaborate with stakeholders to produce visually appealing presentations • Establish a style guide for the client presentations • Retouch and color correct photographs for presentations
