Role Description The Designer II is an entry-level contributor focused on strengthening discipline knowledge, advancing modeling capability, and taking greater ownership of coordination and documentation across projects. You’ll apply workflows, tools, and BIM standards with increasing independence while supporting engineers and project teams in delivering coordinated construction documents. - Contribute to project delivery through modeling, drawing updates, coordination support, documentation, and early QA activities. - Take on more complex coordination and documentation responsibilities across various technology disciplines. - Help maintain model quality, support coordination efforts, and reinforce TEECOM’s BIM and documentation standards. - Identify coordination risks, improve model organization, and contribute to more efficient project workflows. Qualifications - BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent experience. - 2+ years of experience in the AEC industry with demonstrated proficiency in Revit modeling, drafting, and construction documentation. - Experience supporting technology system design (Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi, and other technology disciplines). - Familiarity with basic clash detection workflows in Navisworks or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). - Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD; working knowledge of Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Asana, and GitHub. Requirements - Produce accurate, coordinated Revit models, drawings, and documentation with minimal rework. - Complete most production tasks independently and clarify direction early. - Support engineers by preparing design calculations, specifications, product research, and coordinating documentation. - Manage your task load effectively—updating Asana, communicating risks early, and meeting deadlines across multiple projects. - Maintain a healthy model structure by managing links, worksets, view templates, and model organization in alignment with TEECOM’s BIM standards. - Participate in meetings and prepare clear, organized notes that support team alignment. • Own delivery execution across multiple projects or complex project scopes. • Manage the client relationship at the project level. • Drive implementation from scope through commissioning. • Mentor junior PMs. • Lead coordination across regions, cultures, and time zones while maintaining execution consistency. • Lead technical implementation projects spanning telecommunications infrastructure, structured cabling, audiovisual, security, acoustics, and wired and wireless networks. • Align staffing, execution standards, and delivery priorities with Team Leads and Project Managers. • Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and propose additional technical services that improve project outcomes. • Maintain execution stability, financial predictability, client confidence, and strengthen account continuity.
• The Senior BIM Specialist I is a senior production role for team members who have chosen a career path in modeling, documentation, and BIM coordination. • You’ll bring deep Revit expertise to your projects, leading the modeling workflow, managing model structure and health, and ensuring TEECOM’s deliverables are accurate, organized, and fully coordinated. • You’ll work closely with engineers to translate markups and design intent into clear, constructible documentation. • You’ll anticipate coordination issues, resolve modeling conflicts, run clash detection, and drive BIM-related decisions that keep projects moving efficiently. • As a leader in production, you’ll train and mentor Designers in Revit, modeling best practices, documentation habits, and TEECOM standards. • You’ll model a disciplined, process-driven approach to production and contribute to improving the BIM workflows used across the firm.
• The Associate Principal is responsible for leading small- to mid-scale, multi-discipline projects. • Guide projects from programming through closeout—clarifying requirements, coordinating design, documenting decisions, ensuring deliverables meet standards. • Apply strong engineering judgment, maintain alignment with scope, schedule, and budget, surface risks early. • Cultivate strong client relationships—building trust through clear communication, reliable follow-through, and thoughtful problem-solving. • Mentor Designers and engineers through hands-on guidance, reviews, and feedback.
