Direct Procurement Deployment Lead
Meta Resources Group
• Plan and manage end-to-end deployment activities for Direct Procurement (Req-to-PO). • Define scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, and risk mitigation plans. • Translate global procurement design into site-specific implementation guidance. • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality rollout. • Track workstream progress and report status, risks, and blockers. • Own defect management for the Direct Materials stream, including triage and resolution. • Work closely with system integrators and IT teams to resolve SIT/UAT defects. • Monitor legacy system dependencies to ensure uninterrupted supply during transition. • Serve as the main point of contact for Direct Procurement within the P2P program. • Prepare clear status updates, dashboards, and presentations for leadership. • Represent the ERP program to plant managers, supply chain leads, and local teams. • Translate technical issues and testing results into business-friendly messaging. • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Direct Procurement. • Personally validate complex SAP scenarios such as subcontracting, consignment, and quality inspection integration. • Ensure system readiness and defect resolution prior to go-live. • Support change adoption by guiding operational teams through new SAP processes. • Enable a Train-the-Trainer model for key users. • Help users transition from legacy procurement processes to S/4HANA standards. • Monitor KPIs, compliance, and adoption after deployment. • Drive issue resolution during hypercare. • Ensure smooth handover to business-as-usual support teams.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Direct Procurement, Materials Management, or Manufacturing Supply Chain.
- Hands-on experience with SAP implementation or global ERP rollout projects.
- Prior exposure to SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Direct Procurement Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Working knowledge of SAP MM / PP (e.g., MRP analysis, PO processing).
- Experience supporting inventory-managed materials in manufacturing environments.
- Experience using defect and testing tools such as Jira, VERA, ServiceNow, or similar.
- Familiarity with SIT, UAT, and deployment validation cycles.
- Experience with process mapping, data analysis, and root-cause methodologies.
- Ability to review and refine Signavio (or similar) process models.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Structured, solution-oriented problem-solving approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Strong collaboration skills across Procurement, Finance, AP, IT, and Operations.
- Experience working in global or complex organizational environments.
- Language: Advanced English required (additional languages a plus).
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%).
