Web Applications Developer
CCBill
• Build front end components for the CCBill e-commerce web platform and related products (widgets, various JavaScript frameworks/SDKs) • Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts – JavaScript Unit Testing and Rapid Prototyping • Review staging and production environments client-side performance and pro-actively improve it • Translate designs and style guides provided by the UI/UX team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance • Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, front end software architecture or new technologies • Ensure web development follows responsive paradigm • Take responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions • Work closely with developers daily to implement best practices • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation to ensure long-term system maintainability
Job Requirements
- Highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (jQuery, Angular, etc.), HTML5 and CSS3 (SASS/LESS)
- Well versed in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies
- Experience with front-end template engines
- Experience with writing front-end unit tests
- Excellent knowledge of responsive web development and progressive enhancement
- Experience in development of high-volume / high-availability web applications
- Experience working with enterprise level tools such as source control and continuous integration servers
- Working knowledge of building web pages for mobile devices
- Working knowledge of backend web server technologies such as tomcat, httpd, Java, Groovy and Perl
- Excellent communication skills, collaborative and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Role Description At Cresa, we are leaders in developing enterprise software for the commercial real estate industry. You will be working with our team of in-house developers building our suite of cutting-edge web applications, designed to help Cresa's real estate brokers and clients strategically manage their real estate portfolios. Specifically, you will work on a powerful tool called Bluechip Insights, which is built in ReactJS and Laravel, leveraging a beautiful user interface and powerful enterprise data sources, combined with rapidly advancing AI models, to help users strategically identify new locations. The combination of a modern technology stack and a small, agile team makes this an exciting opportunity to build software that will be used by some of the world's largest companies. - Working with product team, data team, other software engineers and managing principles. - Used to working on teams and solo assignments/projects. - Work in Jira project management system to refine, plan, estimate and accomplish work. - Frontend development for websites and digital projects by matching comps provided by designers. - Frontend updates, new features, bug fixes in ReactJS, SCSS and HTML as determined by requirements in Jira. - Backend development in the Laravel ecosystem. - Creating solid APIs in the backend for the frontend. - Debugging and bug fixes to existing functionality and design of digital website properties. - Creating API connections with 3rd party data providers. - Unit testing and code testing. - Release management and SDLC knowledge. - Daily standups as with Scrum Agile.
