Automation Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable iOS UI automation frameworks using XCUITest and XCTest • Design and maintain web automation frameworks using Cypress • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation scripts following industry best practices • Collaborate closely with iOS and web developers to ensure testability and early defect detection • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing • Execute automated regression, smoke, and end-to-end test suites across multiple iOS devices, OS versions, and browsers • Analyze test results, identify flaky tests, and improve test stability and execution time • Participate in code reviews, test design discussions, and sprint ceremonies within an agile environment • Ensure proper reporting and communication of test results and quality metrics to stakeholders
Job Requirements
- 5 years of experience
- Strong expertise in iOS UI automation using XCUITest and XCTest
- Strong hands-on experience in web automation using Cypress
- Hands-on experience in writing automation scripts using Swift and/or Objective-C
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript for Cypress automation
- Solid understanding of iOS application lifecycle, UI elements, accessibility identifiers, and gestures
- Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
- Strong fundamentals in OOP concepts, design patterns, and test automation principles
- Experience in API testing and validation to support end-to-end test scenarios
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in distributed teams
