Role Description The Hypersonic Aeropropulsion Test Engineer will provide critical engineering support to Arnold Air Force Base. This role will involve planning, executing, and analyzing hypersonic propulsion system tests in ground test facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of hypersonic aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and test methodologies. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in hypersonic aerodynamics and/or propulsion testing is preferred. - Familiarity with ground test facilities and data acquisition systems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Experience with data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python) is a plus. • Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Appium, JavaScript, TypeScript, and WebDriverIO • Support the QE Automation Engineer in executing automated tests and maintaining test coverage • Help monitor test results, report issues in Sentry, and collaborate with the development team • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub) by integrating automated tests and supporting continuous testing processes • Maintain and organize test case repositories in BrowserStack • Participate in QA team discussions

• Provide technical guidance on implementing Momentum in a cloud environment as part of a financial and acquisition management system for a Cabinet Level Agency. • Direct and perform technical tasks including analysis, requirements development, technical configuration, system performance testing as part of an implementation of Momentum. • Recommend system improvements in the following specialties as they pertain to Momentum: information systems architecture, networking, cloud environment configuration, performance testing, automation, security, communications, software life-cycle management, modeling and simulation.
